I’m sorry Dave, but I’m unable to make mistakes. Ummm, I don’t know.
In many science fiction movies or books people communicate with machines not by pressing buttons
nor by typing on a keyboard, but with voice.
And now, we can have sth like that in a car.
This is Sync3 in Ford cars – let’s have a look.
If you have watched our Canadian daily vlog, you surely noticed the Sync3 in Ford Edge we drove.
We used it all the way from Calgary to Vancouver and in Vancouver as well. It was really smooth.
I was sure this cannot be translated to Polish – we use inflection when speaking.
Either the computer will be lost or I will be speaking incorrectly.
But no, it works like this:
Find an address
Zakopane, Krupówki 29
Sure, it does take a while, you have to confirm if the address was recognized, but most of the time it works.
But that’s not all. You can tell what’s on your mind.
I need to refuel
There’re a few options, including charging stations for electric cars.
I’m waiting for a PHEV Ford Edge – I’d buy it on the first day! Sadly, there are no plans to make one right now.
You can also say „I’m hungry”, „I want coffee” – the GPS will offer closest restaurants and coffee spots. The best thing while on the road.
But if you type this while driving – which I don’t recommend – you’re as distracted as when talking to a computer.
Whole infotainment system is fluid and intuitive. If you saw my Ford Ranger or Ford Edge tests and heard me complain about Sync2
you finally have sth better. You don’t have to study the manual to learn how to use it. Just start.
What else can Sync3 do? After pairing the hone, you can call anyone from the address book
by saying their name or phone number.
Sync3 can read text messages, you can even reply to texts. But do you still use texts?
If you’d rather use AppleCarPlay or AndroidAuto, it’s also available.
In some car models, you can access the climate control settings using voice. Or tune into your fav radio station, play music via Bluetooth or USB, and start the CD player.
I can imagine some of you will deem these functions superfluous. I’m sure it’s possible to punch in the address before starting the trip,
look for road signs directing one to a petrol station and turn on the radio once for the whole trip. And it’s OK.
But voice-operated controls become more and more popular and cheaper – why not use them then?

Allow us a moment to give a brief eulogy to the Ford Focus RS, as the Blue Oval announced
that its 350-hp hot hatchback will cease production come April 6.
Following quite a while of viewing our European partners appreciate the strength of the superior
Focus RS, Ford at long last gave us Yanks the chance to relax in the model’s magnificence
for the 2016 model year.
Also, sublime it was.
With 350 torque created from its turbocharged 2.3-liter inline-four, the all-wheel-drive
Focus RS instantly demonstrated its family by bringing down the Subaru WRX STI and the
Volkswagen Golf R in an examination test led through the winding two-path roads in the
Provence locale of France.
Like a surgical tool among steak cuts, the Focus RS tore through pinnacles with elegance
and self-restraint, at the same time swinging its tail about like an energized puppy.
The Focus RS wasn’t impeccable, however, and its solidly tuned suspension tore at our vertebrae
on everything except the smoothest roads, which portrayed less and less American roads
On a track, however, for example, Virginia International Raceway (VIR), where we ran
the Focus in our yearly Lightning Lap work out, it was splendid.
Indeed, even after the Honda Civic Type R beat the Focus RS by a limited edge in a later
examination test, our untainted delight with the Germany-constructed Ford’s foaming shenanigans
stayed in place through the 2017 and ’18 demonstrate runs.
Ford will keep on building the normal Focus for North America through midyear.
A successor show is slated to come in 2019, yet there’s no word yet on whether Ford designs
a cutting edge RS form.
Thus we get ready to say farewell to the Ford Focus RS until further notice, trusting this
isn’t “farewell” yet “see you later.”

When Ford introduced the 2012 Focus, it was a big deal.
For the first time in years, the U.S. got the same great compact car that Europe did.
Seven years later, however, the Focus we were so excited to drive is now best described
as “long in the tooth.”
Thankfully, a redesigned version is on its way, and based on this spy shot, it’ll be
a real looker.
According to a Google translation of Hungary’s Vezess, the above photo was taken by a reader
in Portugal who appears to have caught Ford shooting a commercial or promo for the new
It also sounds like the workers were less than thrilled to see him.
“Hi, I think I saw the new Ford Focus in Cascais,” the reader wrote in an email to
“I was not able to observe more because they were chasing me.
The woman in the middle yells not to take a picture.”
But take a picture he did.
Contrasted with the present Focus, the car we see here has a significantly more premium,
develop look that matches past reports that the Focus would move upmarket.
We see a tad of Mazda3 in the flared bumpers and inclining rooftop, however from this edge,
the headlights have all the more a Volvo or Kia Cadenza vibe.
In general, however, we like the look, particularly in this shading.
Strangely, the car seems to have been debadged, however the body lines do coordinate past
Focus model government operative shots that we’ve seen.
On the off chance that you take a gander at the wheels, it likewise resembles a Ford logo
has been concealed.
With the Focus plainly creation prepared, a Geneva Motor Show introduction would bode
In any case, in view of what we’ve heard, Ford really plans to skip Geneva and uncover
the new Focus in April.
Tragically, if Ford handles the Focus uncover as it did with the new Fiesta, we may need
to look out for U.S. specs.
Provided that this is true, how about we trust the Focus ST doesn’t endure an indistinguishable
destiny from the Fiesta ST.
